Villa Orsini is an 18th century residence built by Filippo Orsini, 7th Prince of Solofra, 16th Duke of Gravina in Puglia and last feudal lord of Mirabella, on the site of an ancient Roman house. The sumptuous historic home that once welcomed the Orsini family and the noble Neapolitan friends, centuries later it is preserved in all its original splendor with its sitting rooms, period furniture and antique furnishings.

The foundations of the ancient Roman building on which it was built are, in fact, preserved in excellent condition and protected by the Archaeological Superintendence of Salerno and Avellino. In particular, it is a wall dating back to the imperial age of Hadrian that belonged to an ancient mausoleum in the city of Aeclanum.

The antiquity of the Orsini residence can be felt not only in the interior, but also in the green spaces. Villa Orsini is, in fact, surrounded by a wonderful natural park of about 70,000 square meters that houses the remains of an ancient Roman aqueduct and the spring belonging to the same era.
