All the details on the organisation between starred chefs, art and flavours from Irpinia
With great pride, the Orsini group, for years an emblem of excellence for prestigious events and receptions, is preparing to welcome, from 2 to 4 October, the G7 Interior Ministers, who have gathered in Mirabella Eclano for a security summit of international importance. This is how we are taking care of every detail, between Villa Orsini, Orsini MOOD and Orsini Resort, to ensure a reception worthy of an event of this magnitude.
The organisation
The owner Angelina Pascarella, who represents the cohesion and professionalism of Villa Orsini, is in constant contact with the local and national authorities of the Farnesina and the Prefecture to ensure the smooth running of the meeting. Our entire staff will take care of the reception of the delegates, who will stay in the 40 rooms of the residence and in the suites of the Orsini Resort, so that each guest can appreciate not only the historical beauty of the villa, but also the hospitality and quality of the entire area. All the local activities, in fact, are collaborating in different ways to bring prestige to Mirabella Eclano and the whole of Campania: a team of over 120 people, carefully coordinated, is working to ensure the perfect organisation of an event of world importance.
Gourmet excellence
The G7 gala dinner, to be held on 3 October in the exclusive Orsini MOOD, will be the event where our guests will be able to appreciate and discover Campania’s excellent food and wine. At the helm will be resident chefs Antonio Meninno and Nunzio Carannante, flanked by two-Michelin-starred chef Nino Di Costanzo. Their collaboration will result in an authentic immersion in the flavours of Irpinia to be offered to ministers and officials from all over the world. Our chefs are carefully selecting prized ingredients and experimenting with new combinations to create refined and tasty dishes that enhance the flavours and excellence of the Irpinia and Campania region, but sublimated into unique and innovative dishes. Among the main protagonists will be lamb, porcini mushrooms, truffles and local cheeses, accompanied by the award-winning organic wines of the Quintodecimo Winery, led by oenologist Luigi Moio, an internationally recognised excellence from Campania.
Art and history: welcoming Mirabella Eclano
The artists of Mirabella Eclano are also contributing with dedication to the reception of the highest political dignitaries of the G7. The gardens of our historic villa will become the evocative backdrop for excellent stage sets and works of art, including the imposing woven straw Obelisk, dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows and created by local artist and craftsman Giotto Faugno. In this way, the extraordinary creativity of Mirabella Eclano will accompany the rich cultural heritage of Irpinia, a land steeped in history, witnessing past eras through Roman aqueducts, fortified walls, archaeological parks and ancient thermal complexes.
